The information in this Refund Policy is a general statement of Indiana Quality Windows’ practices and is not legal advice. Refund rights and consumer protections vary by jurisdiction. This policy governs refunds provided by Indiana Quality Windows for products we purchase and install and for related services. By engaging our services or accepting delivery of products, you agree to these terms. Consult an attorney for legal advice specific to your situation.

Refund Policy - the basics

  • Product refunds: We will refund the purchase cost of products only when the vendor accepts a return or cancellation and we are able to return or cancel the order. Refunds cover only the amount Indiana Quality Windows actually receives from the vendor after any restocking, cancellation, or vendor fees are applied.

  • Deductions and fees: Refunds may be reduced by vendor restocking or cancellation fees, transaction fees, and any trip or handling charges we incur to pick up or return the product. Any such deductions will be itemized on your refund notice.

  • No refunds for services or non-returnable items: We do not offer refunds for labor, installation, painting, drywall work, on-site services, or for products the vendor or manufacturer deems non-returnable.

  • Order cancellations: If you cancel a product order before it is shipped or dispatched and the vendor allows cancellation, we will seek a refund of the purchase price less any vendor cancellation fees. If the vendor does not allow cancellation, refund eligibility follows the rules above.

  • Timing: We begin processing an approved refund after the vendor confirms the return or cancellation. Refunds to the original payment method are typically completed within 7–14 business days after confirmation, subject to vendor timing and payment processor/bank delays.

What to include in the Refund Policy

  • Covered: Refunds for the purchase price of products Indiana Quality Windows buys on your behalf, but only if: (a) the vendor accepts a return or cancellation; (b) the product is returned in the condition required by the vendor (unused, with required packaging, within the vendor’s return window); and (c) we are reimbursed by the vendor.

  • Not covered: Labor, installation fees, service charges, painting, drywall work, delivery/trip charges we bill for installation (unless otherwise agreed in writing), and any custom-ordered or non-returnable products once the vendor’s return window or cancellation policy has closed.

  • Documentation & process: To request a refund, contact us with your name, job address, invoice number, proof of purchase, and photos if applicable. We will contact the vendor, attempt the return or cancellation, and notify you of approved refunds and any deductions.

  • Inspection & returns: Vendor return policies and restocking requirements govern acceptance of returns. If a pick-up or return trip is required, associated trip charges may be deducted from the refund unless previously agreed otherwise.

  • Disputes: If you disagree with a refund decision, contact us to request a review. Unresolved disputes will be handled according to your service agreement and applicable law.
